In Pursuit of Success
"Family businesses make a tremendous contribution to the economic and social fabric of the UK. Our three winners are testament to the achievement of UK family firms and an inspiration to others."

In 2003 the Family Business Honours programme was set up in association with London Business School and The Institute for Family Business (UK), to celebrate the contribution that family owned businesses make to the economy of the UK and Europe.
Family businesses face unique challenges of family ownership, management and succession that need to be better understood to be more widely overcome.
Underpinning the Family Business Honours is the belief that successful family businesses are usually those that have found a way to balance the demands of the family, the business, and the community.
The programme provides a forum for leading family business owners to learn from each other. Furthermore, by identifying best practice in family firms, we believe we are creating role models for the entire business community.
