The 2009 J.P. Morgan IFB Family Business Honours

J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank and the Institute for Family Business (IFB) announced the winners of their sixth annual Family Business Honours programme at a ceremony held on 4th June 2009 at The Sage Gateshead, Newcastle.

Honours were presented to three outstanding UK family businesses: Arco Ltd - the leading provider of expert advice, services and safety solutions; Specsavers – the world’s largest privately owned optician group and Vitabiotics Group - Britain’s leading vitamin supplement company,

The winners were chosen for excellence across a range of categories, including business success, social responsibility and family governance. Each business was commended for its relentless pursuit of innovation and for a demonstrable commitment to its employees and the community at large.
