The 2010 J.P. Morgan IFB Family Business Honours
J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank and the Institute for Family Business (IFB) announced the winners of their seventh annual Family Business Honours programme at a ceremony held on 10th June 2010 at The Kensington Roof Gardens in London :
Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd. – Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant, having traded from the same shop for over 300 years;
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. – London’s last remaining traditional family brewer established in 1845; and
Robert Wiseman Dairies – one of the country’s leading milk companies, providing 30% of the fresh milk consumed in Britain every day.
The winners were chosen for excellence across a range of categories, including business success, social responsibility and family governance. Each business was commended for its relentless pursuit of innovation and for a demonstrable commitment to its employees and the community at large.
